In similar fashion, Knee started out with Steve, who he used to close out Gen in their previous match. Gen began the match choosing Fahkumram, who won him a game off Knee in their earlier set. Along with prize money, this match heavily impacted player legacies and international bragging rights. It also renewed the classic contest between South Korea and Japan, the world’s two premier regions for Tekken.
